Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, whose father died a few weeks ago from cancer, has resumed work.
The actress is working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s biopic, Mary Kom.
Chopra’s father had been suffering from cancer since 2008. He was in the final stages of the disease.
The actress, who was missing her father on Father’s Day, tweeted: “Daddy’s lil’ girl… Always ’n forever.”
Talking about Chopra, a source told the media the actress shared a close bond with her father.
“He is the one who always wanted to see her successful. This is what kept her motivated and focused on her work.”
Mary Kom is directed by Omung Kumar.
In three weeks, Chopra and the entire crew of the movie will move to Manali to shoot the next schedule of the film
