Exactly 23 years after the first Aashiqui enthralled music lovers, the Bhatt camp is back with the part deux of love story titled Aashiqui 2, which releases today along with a mystery thriller Shree.
Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor will revive the 90s' romance in this musical love story, which has been directed by Mohit Suri.
Aashiqui 2 like the original is a tale of two lovers, who go through love, hate, success and turbulence in their life.
The movie has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kishen Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt.
The film's music, which is already a hit has been composed by trio Jeet Ganguly, Ankit Tiwari and Mithoon.
Reports are that Aashiqui 2 has been inspired by Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan's Abhimaan but the makers have denied any such link.
The second release this week is Shree, which marks the debut of TV actor-cum-anchor Hussain Kuwajerwala. He is seen oppositeChakravyuh actress Anjali Patil.
The movie is about Shree played by Hussain, who is an ordinary man who gets extra ordinary powers after a failed experiment. But how his life changes post that experiment is what Shree is all about.
The movie a mystery thriller has been directed by Rajesh Bachchani.
So, take your pick this week. Romance or Thriller.
