Aishwarya Rai has decided to charge less for Heroine.
Director Madhur Bhandarkar may have had initial problems while starting his new project Heroine but now suddenly everything seems to be falling in place. The good news for the director is that, Aishwarya Ria Bachchan, whom the director has eventually cast in the film, has even reduced her fee to work in this film.
Aishwarya is not the only one as the lead actor of the film Arjun Rampal has also decided to slash his fee for the film.
Unlike other makers in Bollywood, Madhur decides his budget before starting his project and is known to finish his film within the fixed budget only. This time around, whereas he has fixed Rs. 18 Crore for Heroine, he couldn’t have managed to make his film in that budget if both Aishwarya and Arjun had decided to charge their normal amount.
But, by cutting their price, both Aishwarya and Arjun haven’t done any major favour to the director apart from showing their faith in him. The two stars have now entered the league of top stars of the industry, who are sharing profits with their makers for their films. Going by his past record, Madhur has given one hit after another and the lead pair of Heroine is confident that the case with this film is going to be no different. With such immense confidence in the director, Aishwarya and Arjun have agreed to share the profits.
The stars getting a share in the profits and with the reduction in the fee by Aishwarya and Arjun, the producers being able to finished the film in the allotted budget. No one seems to be complaining.
